Aryn Michelle Calhoun is a professional singer/songwriter and has been editing songs for her peers, co-writers, students and clients for over 20 years. She has released acclaimed studio albums, EPs and singles and has degrees in music from Southwestern University and the Berklee College of Music. She has won numerous awards for songwriting including the Scott Benson Award, the Gospel Music Association's Immerse Award and has been a finalist/winner in songwriting competitions including the International Songwriting Competition, The Al Johnson Performing Songwriter Contest, and the SongDoor International Songwriting Competition.
Aryn is the Songwriting Division Head for Visible Music College and in 2026 released her first textbook on songwriting “PLAY, SHAPE, CREATE : The Joyful Art of Songwriting.”
